What to expect during your remodel
A remodel happens in your home. Here is how we work while we are there.
How long the bathroom is out of use
Most projects take 12 to 16 weeks from start to finish, depending on scope.
Your written quote lists the exact start date and timeline, so you know when you will have your bathroom back.
Daily work hours
The crew works Monday to Friday,, 8am to 5pm.
We tell you ahead of time if a day needs to start early or run late.
Dust barriers and floor protection
Before demo, we put up plastic dust barriers at the bathroom door.
We cover the floors from your front door to the bathroom and keep them covered until we finish.
Where materials are staged
Tile, glass, and fixtures are staged in your garage, driveway, or another spot you choose.
We agree on the spot during the walkthrough, and nothing goes in your living space without asking.
End of day cleanup
At the end of each day we sweep, vacuum, and haul out debris.
Tools are put away and the work area is left safe.
How you get updates
Dalton is on site and gives you a short update each day, by text or in person.

Permits and inspections for full remodels
Full remodels that move plumbing or electrical need a permit from your city or county. We pull the permit for you, and it is listed on your quote.
Inspections happen at set points, usually after rough plumbing and before the walls are closed. We schedule them and are on site when the inspector comes.
Shower and tub updates that do not move plumbing usually do not need a permit.
